Early November, our Chairman Craig Hampton-Stone, along with trustee Rachel Marshall, had the privilege of attending the Plymouth Business Charity Dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The dinner was pulled together in very short notice by a dedicated team led by Paul Montgomery to raise money for those affected by the dreadful shootings in Keyham in August this year.
The night was a spectacular success and through the hard work of the Plymouth Together charity committee, supported by the generosity of those attending, the night raised over £35,000. This is a really important cause and one which aligns with the strategic outcomes of The Livewell Foundation, particularly improving mental health and reducing social isolation. The Trustees of the Livewell Foundation are delighted to contribute to the efforts of those involved and have presented a cheque for £1,000 to Plymouth Together.
